Aloha! My name is Aaron Najera and I envisioned The Light Den Academy to be a worldwide community of photographers who come together to connect, play and create. Besides doing photography full-time, livestreaming photography on Twitch has become my biggest passion since i started in March of 2020, here’s a little preview of what this stream is all about:
We go LIVE every Monday - Wednesday - Friday on YouTube. Come say hi and introduce yourself! You can normally catch me editing photos in Lightroom, or watching YouTube tutorials on specific Photoshop retouching techniques. We love to chat about cameras, tech, website building, film, growing your business, etc.
Currently, we do a weekly photo editing competition called The RAW Challenge. Download the weekly RAW file, edit it to the best of your ability, submit, and tune in live on Friday for the live voting/results show!
We’ve had the absolute privilege to host and interview several Nikon Ambassadors on stream for photo critiques, photo competitions, and raw Q & A’s!
The Light Den Academy is home to the livestream segment called Edit My Photos. A guest will come on stream and exchange 3 RAW photos with me. We will edit each other’s photos and then compare and contrast each other’s editing style through the same photo.
We also LOVE to play games together. You can catch us at any time playing games like Marbles, Stream Racer, Phasmophobia, Fall Guys, Fortnite etc.
